GOD WILLING

 THE JOURNEY OF LIFE

GOD WILLING

_Matthew 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven._

*One reality of life is that life is eternal. Hmmm! This reality is supposed to bring us a relief but it rather makes many feel sad about life. Those who don't believe there is heaven and so life continues there when judged worthy are those who have concluded it's impossible to be in heaven. Otherwise everyone else would want to be in heaven. Going to heaven is however conditionned to doing the will of God, the Father. What then is the will of the Father? He has testified of Jesus of being his beloved Son in whom he delighteth and has commanded all men to listen to him.

_Matthew  17:5 While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him._

Whatever is the will of God for man has been revealed by Jesus. Jesus says no one has ever seen the Father but the Son and he came bearing witness of Him. To know the will of God and obey it is to listen to the words of Jesus closely.

Permit me to end with this.

Life is a journey and we the followers of Christ, we know our destination. We are heading towards where our master Jesus is seated currently. Jesus said in John 14:1 that we do not have to let our hearts be restless for he was going to prepare a place for us. We know we are on a journey to heaven and so we are all in transit here on Earth. Just like every journey, many things happen on the way; there are adversities here and there that have the ability to destroy the purpose of the journey or destruct you along the line.

I was recently getting some plantain seedlings to plant; in the process one particular plantain had a cut on it although it was  looking very fresh. I supposed the farmer cut it when clearing the weed around it. I could see the  mark made by the cutlass  on it, so I asked myself how come this plantain seedling has a cut  in its  body yet doing so well. Then I realized that the growth of the seedling was dependant on the root and not the stem. Just as this farmer tried clearing around the plantain and ended up cutting it, so are we all going to face adversity in one way or the other. Challenges such as trials, temptations and  sickness, etc. If we are going to be successful we should watch our root. How do you nurture the root? Jesus presented a scenario of a wise man and a fool in _Matthew  7:24 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:7:25 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. 7:26 :And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:_

By this, Jesus reveals to us that we will enter into the kingdom with much suffering. The rain, the storm and the flood may come into our lives and attack our mission, but once we are rooted in Christ by constantly studying his word, though thousands may rise against us, victory is well assured.

Receive grace to get your life rooted in Christ!

The Holy Spirit Experience by Cephas

My Walk with Christ Guideline

Topic: THE HOLY SPIRIT EXPERIENCE

Romans 14:17 For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.

This write-up is a concised information to enlighten you on the place of the Holy Spirit in the life of a born again Christian. It comes to clear doubts and misconceptions in our minds which makes it difficult for us to derive the vital benefit from the promise or the precious gift of God which is the Holy Spirit.

First of all, I would  like you to understand that there is no salvation without the Holy Spirit; no kingdom of God without the Holy Spirit. The verse above tells us the things the believer should be experiencing once being born again. In Col.1:13, the Bible tells us that as many as believed in Jesus, they have been translated from one kingdom to another; from darkness into the light even the kingdom of Christ.
Colossians  1:13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:
Therefore if you believe in Jesus Christ, you have found your place in the kingdom of Christ. You don't have to know how it happened but it happened anyway. Anytime a man confesses his sin and invites Jesus into his heart, immediately an AIR HEAVEN ✈️comes for that person, this happens in a twinkle of eye. And now the Bible says a sign that shows your citizenship has changed, just like an African man who finds himself in Europe where snow falls incessantly so should every believer be experiencing RIGTHEOUSNESS, PEACE & JOY and all these IN THE HOLY SPIRIT. This suggests to us that there is no righteousness, peace and joy outside the Holy Ghost. You may find it very hard trying to be righteous or go seeking for peace and joy OUTSIDE THE HOLY GHOST.
Having said that, at salvation the life of Christ has been imparted into us; that is to say the virtues of God such as listed in Galatians 5:22. It is this experience that has changed us into  new creatures.
2 Corinthians  5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
When a man gets born again, his nose hasn't changed, not even his height. This points to that the fact that the Christian change or transformation takes place in the spirit of that man first before it goes into the outside life of the person. At new birth seed of love has been imparted or planted into our Spirit.

Galatians  4:6 And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.

The first level of experiencing the Holy Spirit helps us to keep us in touch  with God (our devotion), hence loving the Master Jesus and other people more. With this, we are able to bear the fruit of the Spirit; the very nature of God.
Let's now look at the next level of Holy.

Acts  8:14 Now when the apostles which were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent unto them Peter and John:  8:15 Who, when they were come down, prayed for them, that they might receive the Holy Ghost:  8:16 (For as yet he was fallen upon none of them: only they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.)
When I was growing up in the christian walk, the first times I heard people teach on the Holy Spirit, I felt sorry for myself because I was made to understand that what shows one has the Holy Spirit is that he has or is able to speak in tongues. This is true to some extent but not the full truth. As we have established earlier no one can call on God without having received the Holy Spirit (1Cor.12:3).
1 Corinthians  12:3 Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost.
I repeat, our salvation is possible only by the renewing of the Holy Spirit. The Spirit of Christ is the nature of God implanted into our spirit at new birth (1Cor.6:17).
1 Corinthians  6:17 But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.
It is also the seed of righteousness which in the process of time produces what Paul calls the FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT as recorded in Galatians 5:22. It is by the Spirit that the  believer is led (Rom.8:14). Though the Spirit is one and He is received only once, the believer can have different experiences with the same Holy Spirit so that the way Believer A experiences Him may be different from the way Believer B experiences Him. Our opening verse is talking about young believers who did not receive the Holy Spirit; this is not to say that the Holy Spirit was not dwelling in them. So far as they were genuinely born again they had the Holy Spirit indwelling them. However they had not as at that time experienced or "received" the next level of the Holy Spirit, that is the BAPTISM or the OUTPOURING of the Holy Ghost which is evidenced in TONGUES SPEAKING. This experience of the Holy Spirit: the UPON experiencce was stated clearly in the word of God as God's promise to ALL WHO BELIEVE IN JESUS. We see that by the prophecy of Joel in Joel 2:28,
Joel  2:28 And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:
By the words of Jesus in Acts 1: 8,
Acts  1:8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

by the words of John the Baptist in Mat.3:11
Matthew  3:11 I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire:
and many more such as in Acts 19:4, etc. Now let's understand that the standard of Christlikeness is CHARACTER & MINISTRY. This is to say that the first experience of the Holy Spirit at new birth is the impartation of God's virtues that enable us to exhibit the character of Christ as we commune with God and the second experiencce which is the outpouring or being filled up of the Holy Spirit comes with the impartation of gifts unto ministry or service. The latter is evidenced in tongues speaking; this is how others can testify that you have the promise of God or you have received the baptism in the Holy Spirit. Let me quote Jesus' words to you concerning the upon experiencce of the Holy Spirit:
Luke 4:18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,  4:19 To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.
Jesus was able to do the miracles he did because the Holy Spirit was upon Him. Look at what is said about Him in the book of Acts:
Acts  10:38 How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.
 The anointing is in action when it comes upon the life of a man. We cannot and we will not be effective to some extent in our service to God if we don't get baptized in the Holy Spirit. Some people also say that this experience is for only some selected people; please it's a big lie and in fact it's the deception of the devil to keep you stagnant and fruitfulness in your christian life. Hear what Peter said: Acts  2:39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the LORD our God shall call. This is where the disciples received the baptism of the Holy Spirit with speaking in tongues and Peter stood in address of the observers that hey!this is a promise to all that God shall CALL including you if only you believe. Are you called of God? If yes, then you qualify. Hear Jesus talk on the matter: Mark  16:17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;
The condition to do what is listed in there is BELIEVE, which means every believer can speak with tongues and how can one speak in tongues without having received the experience of Holy Ghost baptism? My dear beloved, believe in the promise of God, desire the Holy Ghost and you shall have Him. The scripture says in Romans 8:32, that by Jesus we can accessed to all other good and perfect things in God which includes the Holy Spirit.
Let me reintegrate however that the gifts of the Holy Spirit are not a sign that one has received the Holy Spirit but the fruit of the Spirit instead.
God bless you!  Watch out for the next series!

In case you have not  yet welcome Jesus into your life, this could be the right time to do that. Christ is a place. Jesus Christ says "abide in me and I will abide in you'. Jesus is the right place to be, welcome Him into your life and your life will never ever be the same.

GOD IS LOVE By RKUMI

SPIRITUAL SUPPER TO FEED!!!

GOD IS LOVE

BIBLE TEXT:

1 John 4:8, 16.
John 3:16
Eph. 1:5, 2:5.

The love of God is immeasurable, is not that type of love we show among ourselves,  like,  when you see your friend or family member in need of something and you give to the person then you expect returns from him.

The love of God is not a type that a man offer job to a lady and expect the lady to return her "body" as thanksgiving. No!  the love of God for his people is compassionate, immeasurable, uncountable and whole hearted *love that he showed unto us through his Son Jesus Christ.

God shows his love unto us even when we were sinners and even as we have accepted him us our Lord and personal saviour,  the love still speak for us.

SOME BENEFITS OF GODS LOVE :

1. The love of God results in reconciliation.

2. The love of God gives us salvation.

3. The love of God gives us eternal life.

4.  The love of God brings no condemnation.

5. God destine us in love to be his Sons and daughters through Jesus Christ.

6. The love of God made us alive.

Believe in the Son and accept him as your Lord and personal saviour and you will inherit more of his great love and you will not be condemned. Amen!

PRAYER:
Father grant me the grace to love you as you loved me Amen.

God bless you and enjoy the rest of the day with the blessings of Love.

GROW IN SPIRIT By RKUMI

SUPPERNATURAL FOOD TO FEED!!

GROW IN SPIRIT

BIBLE TEXT:
1Cor.3:1, 2:10-14

Growth is the changes that occurs gradually in one's life.
Growing in spirit is the transformation of a person from the state of Flesh to acquire Spiritual desires.

Paul couldn't address the men as spiritual because they haven't grow to that level.
Can Someone address you as Spiritual Man or Woman? Then you need to grow and be matured in Spirit.

WHY SHOULD WE GROW IN SPIRIT :

1. God reveals to us through the Spirit (1Cor. 2:10)

2. To know the thoughts of God for your life and even others.( 1Cor.2:11)

3. To understand the gifts bestowed on us by God. (1Cor.2:12)

4. Because when you are unspiritual you can not receive the gifts of the Spirit of God.

HOW TO GROW IN SPIRIT:

1. By becoming Spirit Conscious.
(Eph. 4:23)

2. By Meditating on the word.
 (Joshua 1:8)

3. By Praying much in Spirit.
(1Cor. 14:4)

4. Living by the word of God
(James 1:22)

5. Obeying the Voice of your Spirit.

CONCLUSION :

Grow and walk in spirit so that you can be children of God.*

God bless you and enjoy your night with God protection.

FEAR GOD IN YOUR PROFESSION. By RKUMI

SPIRITUAL  OF SUPPER !!!

FEAR GOD IN YOUR PROFESSION.

BIBLE TEXT:
Exodus 1:15-21

Fear of God is to hate evil and submit to God's word also obeying  the word. But not running out of his presence because you fear him. Fear of God is to love God and love the things of God.

Profession is the field of work where one is specialised or been expert in it. For instance, Pastorian work, Accountant, Teaching, Cleaner, Nurse and many more.

Biblical example :
There were two Hebrew women whose profession was midwives, in the name of Shiphrah and Puah. In their field of work, king Pharaoh ordered the midwives to kill any boy born by the Egyptian women but the midwives did not adhere to what the king said because "the Midwives feared God".

LESSON:

In our field of work there may be some advice and responsibilities from all angles that may be contrary to the rules of the game or the work and even to the word of God. "Do not adhere to it, prove to them that you fear God."

Another lesson is that, God gives wisdom and knowledge to you to answer any question from the accuser when you fear God.

CONCLUSION:
Future leaders of the Churches, Society, Nation and even World wide. Whatever profession that we will find ourselves in let the fear of God work among us.

PRAYER:
May the Lord help us to fear him in any aspect of our lives and in our profession in Jesus mighty name Amen.

Have a fruitful day!!
*Shalom... Peace!!

TAKE OFF YOUR SANDALS By RKUMI

SUPPERNATURAL LUNCH OF LUNCH!!

TAKE OFF YOUR SANDALS

BIBLE TEXT:
Exodus 3:5

To draw closer to God in the Christian journey, you need to take off the sandals that contradict the word of God. (Galatians 5:19-21.)

Moses decided to draw close to the flame of fire (God) within the bush but God said to him "Do not Come any closer" why?  Because the place was a holy ground of which he need to take off his sandals before he can have access to it.

Meaning, God is Holy. He is ever ready to accept us in his holy of holiness but unless we take off the sandals, habits or life that lead us to sin, we can not have access to that place.

CONCLUSION :
Brethren, let's take off the sandals of lying, jealousy, drunkenness, envy, selfish ambition, sexual immorality and many more so that you can have a deep relationship and fellowship with the Holy Spirit (God).

PRAYER:
Father I thank you for your word this day. I surrender all to you, come into my life and take off everything that prevent me to fellowship or worship you. Recreate me to love you and love the things of the word and not the world in Jesus mighty name Amen.

God bless you and enjoy your day.
Shalom... Peace!!

THE CRY FOR THE BLESSING OF A FATHER ~ By Cephas Aziabou

My Walk with Christ Guidelines

Topic: THE CRY FOR THE BLESSING OF A FATHER ~ By Cephas Aziabou

Anchor Scripture:
Ephesians  6:2 Honour thy father and mother; which is the first commandment with promise;  6:3 That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth.

This write-up seeks to acknowledge the vital role of a father, reminding all fathers of their relevance and to invite children and mothers to honor fathers.

A survey has shown that the majority of  children tend to appreciate their mother more than their father. Geher (2018) in his article  titled "5 Reasons kids tend to put Mom ahead of Dad" cited that data of Forbes showing that fathers come second when the children are spending on their mother and father. According to that data there is 40% difference of what Americans spend on their mother on Mother's Day as compared to what they spend on the fathers on Father's Day. Well, they have their reasons which may be valid. I personally wrote an article not too long ago in honor of mothers titled "My mother was a prostitute". The article sought to appreciate the mothers for their inevitable sacrifice towards their respective families.

However, it is important we settle the argument that the two parents are equally important and for that matter relevant. In our anchor scripture for instance, the writer by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit instructs that parents should be honored. Let it be so and let no one turn it upside down. It is the will of God that parents are honored irrespective of what they do or don't do.

Talking about fathers, it is possible we relegate them to the background because they seem to be doing just a little as compared to mothers. However the role of a father is undeniable, a role that mothers may not be able to play. Fathers have the unique role of INFLUENCING THE DESTINY OF THEIR CHILDREN AND HENCE THE DESTINY OF THE NEXT GENERATION.

Beside this role, a father does many other things which we may not mention in this article. We shall rather concentrate on the priesthood of the father. Among these other duties of a father, we can mention the duties of provision and protection.

Exodus  22:22 Ye shall not afflict any widow, or fatherless child.
A home without a father is a vulnerable home and therefore a broken home. For that matter God had to make a law in that regard not to touch the widow and the fatherless. This is so obvious in our communities where fathers turn irresponsible, creating the situation of single motherhood. Children raised by single mothers, mostly become wayward in our society due to financial pressure or societal vulnerability. This points to the fact that a father is as important as a mother.
Let us now narrow the role of a father down to the role to influence the destiny of the children. This role of  a father can be divided into two: natural and spiritual.

The natural role of a father to influence the destiny of his child is traced to the birthing process. Science reveals that  fathers determine the sex of the children born of them. Fathers give a combination of chromosomes XY whilst mothers give solely XX. During a sexual intercourse, the mother will always give X but the man sometimes X to result in a female and some other times Y which results in a male. We are all who we are gender based because of our father. This phenomenon has gradually influenced our culture in that the last name of the new born baby is the father's name. And in most cases , naming the child is the duty of the father.

Talking about the spiritual role of a father to influence the destiny of the child is so obvious in that a father is the God figure in the life of his children. It is important to note that the book which contains the wholesome counsel of God has acknowledged the headship of a father and for that matter the priest or the  spiritual father in the family.

1 Corinthians  11:3  But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.
The so called women emancipation that seeks to equate woman with man though I'm not against it if in its application does not give the honor to men as heads over the women is no wisdom but the wisdom of men and so of the devil.

The father has the unique role to bless or to curse his children. The Bible records myriad of cases where destinies were influenced by fathers. For instance the destinies of Jacob and Esau were influenced by their father Isaac.

Genesis  27:37 And Isaac answered and said unto Esau, Behold, I have made him thy lord, and all his brethren have I given to him for servants; and with corn and wine have I sustained him: and what shall I do now unto thee, my son?  27:38 And Esau said unto his father, Hast thou but one blessing, my father? bless me, even me also, O my father. And Esau lifted up his voice, and wept.

Isaac has finished blessing Jacob not too long after Esau comes to be blessed. The Bible says Esau wept for his blessing and the father blessed him also. I became emotional when reading this: how a son cried for the father's blessing not the father's car or house. Is there not a treasure close to us that this generation has put aside and now chasing the wind? The persons Esau and Jacob became later in life was determined by their father Isaac's blessing. Time will not allow me to take you through GENESIS 49 that is concentrated on the blessings and the curse of Jacob as declared on his twelve children. Fathers are a blessing if honored.

THE DUTY OF CHILDREN TOWARDS A FATHER

In Genesis 9, we witness another scene where a son was cursed by his father whilst the other two were blessed by the same father.
Genesis  9:22 And Ham, the father of Canaan, saw the nakedness of his father, and told his two brethren without.  9:23 And Shem and Japheth took a garment, and laid it upon both their shoulders, and went backward, and covered the nakedness of their father; and their faces were backward, and they saw not their father's nakedness.

Ham saw the nakedness of his father Noah and exposed it. By the act of exposing his father's nakedness, Ham was cursed by the father. Fathers may make themselves naked in the process of time but what we do with their nakedness determines our future. Mothers, stop inciting your children against their father! You may be doing them more evil than good.

Whilst Ham was cursed, Shem and Japheth were blessed. These two provided for the covering of their father's nakedness. Your father's nakedness or weakness can be an avenue for your greatness if you respond to it positively.

Seeing the vital role of a father, God has proven throughout the scripture to be the father of the fatherless and the husband to the widow. He therefore welcomes both the fatherless and the widow to trust HIM.

Psalms  68:4 Sing unto God, sing praises to his name: extol him that rideth upon the heavens by his name JAH, and rejoice before him.  68:5 A father of the fatherless, and a judge of the widows, is God in his holy habitation.
In the absence of your earthly father, God says don't worry He is your father. Amazing! Take a minute and just thank God! Personaly I can't hold my tears; God is love indeed.

THE RESPONSIBILITY OF OTHERS TOWARDS THE WIDOW AND THE FATHERLESS

If God does not want us to afflict or take advantage of the fatherless and the widow, then in the contrary he wants us to care for them.

James  1:27 Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.
You and I have the responsibility to cater for the fatherless and for the widow.
In conclusion, fathers are as relevant as mothers. We get what we do with them. We may not be able to live a fulfilled life when we dishonor fathers.

Happy Father's Day to all fathers. I pass by this medium to thank my step father Kofi Tenyo, who came in at the time I lost my father. I want to thank God for the life of the father God has brought into my life when all hope was gone, Rev. Dr. Emmanuel Sackey.

God richly bless you and keep you!

Productive christian_ Part 6 By Cephas Aziabou

My Walk with Jesus Guidelines

Topic: _Productive christian_ Part 6

Anchor scripture:
Acts  3:2 And a certain man lame from his mother's womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms of them that entered into the temple;

Welcome to this week's teaching on Productive christian. This is the last episode of our series. It's going to focus on the last factor of spiritual growth or the christian productivity. Last week, we looked at the importance of getting exposed to the unadulterated word of God and the need to enforce the promises of God in His word by prayer. Kindly read the Part 5 in case you haven't yet read it. This session promises to take you deeper by laying emphasis on location or environment.

Our anchor scripture tells us of a cripple laid at a particular spot for his daily survival and the place he was laid was at the gate of the TEMPLE called "Beautiful". The story continues to tell us that one day the cripple  no longer remained at the gate but entered into the temple after he was healed by the power of God by the hands of Peter and John. Where this cripple was laid might not be of interest but I also see that where he was laid contributed greatly to his healing. He might not be the only cripple in town; some might have been laid at the traffic light others at the market junction but no record was made of their healing except the one laid at the gate of the temple.

Places play major roles in our journey to becoming productive. Places increase or decrease our chances of becoming productive or successful. We endanger our lives as believers by standing in certain places. We were saved and brought into a place and we must endeavour to dwell there.
Colossians  1:13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:.

We were saved from darkness and brought into light; we've got to stay in the light and walk in the light. Hallelujah! There are principalities, powers and rulers that control places. They determine the atmosphere in that place. In John 5, the Bible tells us about a POOL. At the pool laid many sick people. These people get healed at a certain moment when the angels visit the place. The healing atmosphere at the pool was conditioned by the angels that visited.

Hebrews  12:22 But ye are come unto mount Sion  ?, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels, This is what was written about ZION; which means Zion was not just a place people meet to worship but HEAVENLY CITY where there are innumerable angels.

Places are spiritual. Unknown to you spiritual activities take place in places we find ourselves  whether good or evil. That is why when choosing a career, we might be mindful of the working atmosphere. Under the old covenant, God commanded the Moabites not to enter into the temple. The reason being that there was a curse placed on them and should they enter into the temple the curse would break.

Deuteronomy  23:3 An Ammonite or Moabite shall not enter into the congregation of the LORD; even to their tenth generation shall they not enter into the congregation of the LORD for ever:
In Isaiah, it is written that the curse shall be broken by the reason of the ANOINTING.
Isaiah  10:27 And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing. Understand that the anointing that breaks yokes is not in every place. The anointing comes by the Holy Spirit and the Holy Spirit is in a place and not in every place.

2 Corinthians  3:17 Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.
The believer must identify where the Holy Spirit is and there he must be for his spiritual clinicals. It is the Spirit that brings result. Jesus was teaching at one time in a place and the Bible says there was power to heal every sick person there and not those in their homes or the hospitals.

Luke  5:17 And it came to pass on a certain day, as he was teaching, that there were Pharisees and doctors of the law sitting by, which were come out of every town of Galilee, and Jud a ea, and Jerusalem: and the power of the Lord was present to heal them.
Never take places for granted. Paul exhorted the church to endeavour to keep meeting and not follow those who take meetings of the beloved in Christ for granted.
Hebrews  10:25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

There are some secrets and enabling power that cannot be found anywhere else except in the church where Christ is exalted and the Holy Ghost acknowledged.
Furthermore, we must note that it is people who form places. The people in a place condition the atmosphere of the place. Sometimes it is not so much about the place itself but THE PEOPLE. Our productivity is directly connected to the people we hang around with.

1 Corinthians  15:33 Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.
According to the scripture, if we walk with evil men, we will eventually become evil. All truths are parallel; this means that if a man walks with a spiritual or a productive christian, he will eventually become spiritual or productive. This is also very important: as youth, don't just choose to marry someone because  of what the person possesses but what has possessed the person. Does that young man or lady have life? What proceeds from his or her mouth, does it edify? Remember the words of the Lord: "What shall profits a man when he gains the whole world but loses his soul?

2 Corinthians  6:14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
My brother, my sister, please pay attention to the words of the Bible. It is written that even the foolishness of God is wiser than the wisdom of the world. I'm not sure you have gotten a wisdom wiser than the wisdom of the Bible yet. Don't say, we are just friends. If you don't change his course, he will change yours. It was written of the disciples of Christ that they were bold and intelligent because they walked with Christ.

Acts  4:13 Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus.
Whom you often sit with determines who you become. In another word, your association determines your productivity.

Kindly pay attention to this: the enemy is seeking to make you useless by attacking your faith. Don't  become a victim by choosing to stand in the wrong with the wrong people.

1 Peter  5:8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:
I pray God grant you discernment and deliver you from any demonic set up against your faith.

In case you have not  yet welcome Jesus into your life, this could be the right time to do that. Christ is a place. Jesus Christ says "abide in me and I will abide in you'. Jesus is the right place to be, welcome Him into your life and your life will never ever be the same.

PUTTING OFF THE OLD CLOTH II By RKUMI

SUPPERNATURAL SUPPER!!

PUTTING OFF THE OLD CLOTH II

Some month ago we studied something about putting off the old clothes. Which we tackled the old clothes of Lying, Anger and Stealing that we need to unclothed.

Today God has made it available for us to consider another old clothes that we also need to unclothed it from our life as Christians.

Clothing is putting on something and this cloth can be good or bad. If it is a bad cloth then we should put it aside as old cloth and it is also a cloth that doesn't pleased God.

Here are some of the cloth we need to unclothed :

Every believer is expected to put off the cloth of worthless talk. As Christians let speak God-like ways and to know where and what to speak and speak about.

Every believer is to put off the cloth of unkindness.

Every believer is to put off the cloth of grieving the spirit.
By speaking impure taught.
By involving in ungodly relationship.

Then one will ask as Christian what should we put on :

As a Christian believer put on the cloth of Kindness, Compassion, Joy, Self control, Faithfulness, Forgiveness, Peace and in all put on the cloth of Love.

CONCLUSION :
Let our inner beauty be more important to us than the outside one by unclothing the old clothes and putting on the new clothes of God.
Cloth yourself with the word not the world.

PRAYER
Father I thank you for your word this day. I pray that God unclothed me with every evil cloth and cloth with godly ones in Jesus mighty name Amen.

Thank you for always feeding your spirit with this word of God.
God bless you and enjoy your day.

Have a blessed weekend.
Shalom... Peace!

BE A MESSENGER OF THE CROSS By RKUMI

SUPPERNATURAL BREAKFAST

BE A MESSENGER OF THE CROSS

BIBLE TEXT:
Malachi 3:1, 2:7

Brethren, a time is coming and the time is now for Christians of this generation to dominate wherever you find yourself by portraying godly character and also spreading the good news of God.

A messenger is one who carry out or deliver word or message of the master. Then been a messenger of the cross means carrying out or delivering the message or word of God to others.

A messenger speaks the words of his master not of his own. So as a messenger of God you to speak or spread the word of God not of your own wisdom.

A messenger which can also be term as a deligate must be presentable. Assuming the president have deligated you to a program of which he could not be able to attend. I know that you can not dress and speak any how as you present him there.
So as a messenger presenting God on earth, you need to be well presented in terms of speech and how you cloth or dress so that even our outward can testify about Christ.

CONCLUSION :
Is time as youth of this generation to be a messenger to prepare the way for Christ by proclaiming his name in any place we found ourselves.

God bless you and enjoy your day with God protection.

Shalom... Peace!!

THE PURPOSE OF JESUS CHRIST BIRTH By RKUMI

SUPERNATURAL LUNCH

THE PURPOSE OF JESUS CHRIST BIRTH

BIBLE TEXT:
Mathew 1:21-22
Romans 3:23
John 1:14, 3:16.

Some weeks ago we studied about "Known your purpose of been born". And I made mention that Jesus that we serve was having purpose as to which he was born.

So this day I want us to know some purpose of Jesus Christ birth to us so that it will equip us to serve or worship him whole hearted.

The first purpose of Jesus birth to look at is to save us (Man kind) from our sin. Because the word of God made us understand that, "All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. We all fall short of the father's glory, that is why he didn't send angels but instead he send his one and only son to come on this earth and die for us.

The second purpose was to come and pay the wages of our sin. Because the father did not want us to die in our sin.

Another purpose of the birth of Jesus Christ was to restore the glory of man, for we fall short of his glory by sin.

The last purpose of Jesus birth is to have eternal life. Jesus Christ was born to fulfill a purpose (what the Lord had said through the prophet) and through that fulfillment we will enjoy eternal life.

CONCLUSION :

Read, Study and Meditate on this word of God and through the help of the Holy Spirit you will surely know how to serve or worship God through Jesus Christ.

God bless you and bless the day for your sake.

Stay Home Stay Safe
Shalom...

Productive Christian ~ Part 5 By Cephas Aziabou

My Walk with Christ Guidelines

Topic: Productive Christian ~ Part 5

Anchor scripture
Matthew 25:25 I was afraid I would lose your money, so I hid it in the earth and here it is.  (NLT)

You are welcome to this week's episode which is going to take you deeper into becoming a productive christian. Last week, we looked at the three categories of humankind and we laid emphasis on the fact that unless we become spiritual, we cannot be productive enough. Becoming spiritual is not automatic; it's by allowing our minds to be renewed by the Spirit. Spiritual people follow the lead of the Holy Spirit, and not the dictates of the flesh. This week we are looking at fear as a major factor of christian unproductive and the way to conquer it for a productive living. Hope you are set...you will be blessed.

Many Christians don't engage themselves in anything productive because of fear: fear for falling, fear for failure (Proverbs 26:13), fear for the future (Judges 6:5)...
Fear is literally the absence of faith and faith is the result of spiritual activities. A christian who lives in fear lacks spiritual direction.

When fear rules a man, it's a sign that the man has not taken his son-ship position.
John  1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name. We are products of power.
2 Timothy  1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. We received the Spirit of God when we believed in Jesus and that Spirit is not of fear but of power.

The servant in our opening verse could not trade the money given to him for the simple reason that he was afraid. Fear can cripple a man. We therefore need something more powerful than fear in order to keep us moving and that is power or strength which the Spirit in us generates. When the strength of a man fails, his productivity is affected negatively.
Proverbs  24:10 If thou faint in the day of adversity, thy strength is small. We fail because we lack strength.

The challenge of the believer is not his lack of strength or power but his inability to activate the strength or power that God has given him. All we need to be able to do well in life is in us (in our spirit or the inner man). If we are going to be successful, we must learn to rely on the inside of us for a renewal of strength for our daily activities. Kenneth Hagin put it in these words:
"...the renewing of your inner man doesn't just happen automatically because the Bible talks about it. You have a part to play. You must seek God in his Word and prayer."{The Spirit Within and The Spirit Upon, pg51}. The strength within us is therefore activated through WORD MEDITATION AND PRAYER.

Isaiah  40:31 But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. Our strength as believers is of God. Everyone who does extremely well in the natural depends on something unseen called the supernatural.
The word of God is the material we need to be productive.
1 Peter  2:2 As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby Peter asked us not to desire "fufu" or "rice"  but the WORD. A desire is cultivated. Akple is your favorite food not because you ate it just once, but because you were raised with it. The word of God becomes our desire when we continue in it.
John  8:31 Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;

To be qualified as a true disciple of Christ, one must exercise himself or herself in the word continually. There is no way we are going to do the things God is calling us to do without giving ourselves wholly to the Master's words. He has made provision in His word. Grace or Power is therefore generated in us as we give ourselves to the word of God.

However, as indicated in the part 1 of this series, the word taken in isolation without prayer cannot yield the expected results. Every promise we have in the word of God is enforced through prayer. Kenneth Hagin, the sound Bible teacher put it this way on page 53 of his book "The Spirit Within and The Spirit Upon": "Thank God for the Word that He has given us to strengthen us! But as important as the Word is in the daily renewal of our spirit, it can never take the place of waiting before the Lord in prayer. We need both prayer and the word."

Jude  1:20 But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost, Our inner man is strengthened for supernatural works as we pray, not just praying, but praying in the Holy Ghost.

Mashakesofelakrofasha...limilamose...kokose labalakaeha. Receive power in Jesus name!
1 Corinthians  16:8  But I will tarry at Ephesus until Pentecost. Paul saw a great door open unto him but he said to himself "I will tarry"; Pentecost was when power given by the Holy Spirit made manifest through the speaking in tongues. There are many things we will never accomplish until we tap into the mystery of praying in tongues. Receive the infilling of the Holy Spirit now!

Matthew  17:21 Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting. There are some kinds of situations that will not change except by prayer and fasting, according to the words of Jesus. Some mountains don't move except we fast and pray.

Someone says, brother Cephas, you are becoming too Spiritual about this topic on productivity. Well, a person's output is determined by his input. Your inner capacity determines your achievement. Abraham Lincoln, the 16th president of America once said the day had more to do in the day; he prayed for not less than  four hours. I believe in what prayer is able to change. As we pray in spirit, we must allow the Spirit to affect our minds. Productivity is possible when the mind is empowered.
1 Timothy  4:8 For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.

We do exercise to get our bodies in good shape for a healthy living, yet the Bible says bodily exercise profits just little but spiritual exercise is unto all profits including academic excellence, wealth making and career expertise.

Deuteronomy  8:18  But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day. God's power in us when activated is able to make us wealthy. Paul says I am what I am because of GRACE. Grace makes us and grace increases as we engage our spirits in spiritual activities such as word meditation and prayer. Go on a prayer jogging as well as studying the scriptures; your entire life will never be the same.

I will come your way next week God willing for the last episode on this topic. I hope you have been blessed so far.

May the Lord help us all!
In case you have found yourself among the first group: natural Men, please before we talk further inbox me and I will personally lead you to Christ and your life will never be the same.

SEEK THE WAY TO LIFE By RKUMI

HEAVENLY LUNCH!!

SEEK THE WAY TO LIFE

BIBLE TEXT:
John 14:6, Gal. 5:22-23
1Kings 3:14

Our relationship with Christ concern a lot. Believing, fellowship, intimacy and having strong relationship with someone makes you know the person and his ways (Like and Dislikes)

To seek the way to life is to seek God. Meaning, God is life and for that matter no one can enjoy life without God.  One can seek God through prayer by the word. Evang. Emma Adimora once said" Nobody has a life until they have a prayer life".
No matter skillful and trained you are to construct "High Way" until you pray and study the word of God you can not seek the way to life  (God).

Seek to the things that will lead you to life in the "word"  not the "world".
There is more life to enjoy before and after death if only you walk in the ways of God.

God bless you and keep you safe.
Enjoy your day.
Shalom... Peace!!

Productive Christian, Part 4 by Cephas Aziabou

My walk with Christ Guidelines

Topic: Productive Christian, Part 4 by Cephas Aziabou

Anchor scripture:
Romans  8:14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
Welcome once again to the fourth session of Productive christian. May the Holy Spirit aid you to understand the mind of God for your life as you read this article!

Last week, we established the fact that it is not good enough to be called a christian and be recognized in your church as such; we must be concerned about living the christian life inside out in character and in ministry or service after the likeness of Christ. Ref.productive christian: part 3 This week, we are going a step further to look at how to become more productive by looking at the traits of humans as put by Dr. Michael Williams or the three classes of Men as Lewis S. Chafer has coined in his article He That is Spiritual.

I want us first and foremost to understand that our productivity is impossible without us becoming spiritual. And becoming spiritual is an internal exercise as indicated in the part one of this article.
Matthew  16:26 For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?

Christianity is more of what has possessed a man than what he possesses. Every human being is spirit but not all are spiritual. The creation of Man in Genesis tells us that man is spirit, soul and body. However Men are not distinguished by their components but their actions. There are therefore three "classes" or "traits" of every human being. This classification is done by the state of the man, his understanding of spiritual things and his walk according to the writings of Paul in 1Corinthians 2:9-16, 1Corinthians 3:1-3 and Romans 8:1-16. These three groups of humankind are natural men, carnal men and spiritual men.

By the end of this reading, I promise you that if you never knew your group, you will know. Let's start with the first one.

1. Natural Men: this group of people are referred to as unbelievers, pagans or the lost souls. These are the people in their "human state" as put by Dr. Michael Williams.

Romans  3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
We understand by the scripture that, all human race has sinned (they lost God's presence or His Spirit). These people are still in their sins and are without God. They are not born again; they don't have the Spirit of God, they are of the flesh and live by the dictates of it.
Romans  8:8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.
The natural man takes pleasure in doing evil and sees nothing wrong with it.
1 John  2:16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
Telling the unbeliever youth that having sex before marriage is called fornication, therefore a sin before God doesn't make sense to them. The natural man does not understand the things of the Spirit or of God.
1 Corinthians  2:14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. You must have the Spirit of God within you to understand the things of God. They will argue you out when it comes to sowing seed in church and all other related spiritual principles.

2. Carnal Men: This group of people are believers. They are born again; their sins have been forgiven by the washing of the blood of Jesus Christ when they confessed Jesus as their Lord and personal Savior whom they believe. The Spirit of God resides in them that makes them to understand spiritual things or the things of God. Lewis calls them baby Christians. Their challenge is that though they are no more of the nature of Man (flesh), their understanding of spiritual things is shallow and they follow the leading of their flesh instead of the Spirit within them.

1 Corinthians  3:1 And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ.  3:3 For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men? They WALK as natural men. This is where it becomes difficult to distinguish the christian from the unbeliever.
Romans  8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. Many people read this scripture but end at "which are in Christ" but the continuation of the reading tells us that there are two kinds of Christians: some walk after the flesh and others walk after the Spirit. It's getting hot, I guess.
We need to understand that it is not God's will for us to LIVE or WALK after the FLESH.

3. Spiritual Men: This group is the last group of humankind we are looking at. These are the purchased of God by the blood of Christ or the sons of God, believers who have lost their self or being to God as they live or walk by the leading of the Holy Spirit within. Some theologians refer to them as maturing Christians whilst others also call them mature Christians.

2 Corinthians  10:2 But I beseech you, that I may not be bold when I am present with that confidence, wherewith I think to be bold against some, which think of us as if we walked according to the flesh. The spiritual man doesn't have confidence in his flesh; they do things not because of what they feel in their flesh but what they know by the spirit.
N.B: Be careful and don't be deceived! Spirituality is not being churchy; spirituality is not the wearing of some particular dresses or leaving bushy hair and bear; it is not the practice of some form of holiness; spirituality is not much praying; it is not even Bible verse memorization for the devil also does it; spirituality is not a public gymnastic or  display of  spiritual gifts. All these are a part of  spirituality but not the whole of it. Spirituality is the ability to discern the thoughts of God by the Spirit and take Spirit led decisions.
This is the desire of God for us that we may be conformed to the image of Christ as we daily live by the Spirit.
Romans  8:29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestine to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.
We must bear it in mind that being spiritual is not a status we reach but a dimension we walk in. That's why a man may be walking in the will of God for him today and tomorrow something else of the flesh. In order to grow in spiritual matters, Paul wrote and he tells us to WALK IN THE SPIRIT.
Galatians  5:16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. Walking in the Spirit is another episode of our topic which I will be discussing with you in the next publication. However I would like to live you with this before I close this particular write-up.
Child of God, listen until we allow the Spirit to affect our minds, we are no different than unbelievers. We cannot be productive without having or possessing the mind of Christ.
On page 56 of his book "The Spirit within and Spirit upon", Kenneth Hagin wrote and said:
"Your mind is renewed with the word of God...but the Holy Spirit is involved as you meditate."
Our minds are therefore empowered to produce spirit filled results when we expose the mind to the word of God.
Romans  12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
You act in the way of the flesh because you fill or expose your mind to the things of the flesh.
Don't forget this: the access door to your mind is your sight and your hearing. Before the devil kills you he first fills your mind with death or before he causes you to fornicate he fills your mind with the lust of the flesh. Don't fall a prey to the devil! You can choose to be spiritual by wisely choosing the things you watch and listen to daily.

Romans  10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
If there is  something we ought to listen to more as born again believers then that thing is the WORD. Understand that Jesus is the Word and the more we listen to him the more we become like Him.
2 Corinthians  3:18 But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the LORD.
Our new birth requires of us to grow in the full image of Christ and until we grow we cannot handle the tasks God is calling us to accomplish and the worse of it all is to be trashed into hell fire on the last day.
Galatians  4:1 Now I say, That the heir, as long as he is a child, differeth nothing from a servant, though he be lord of all;
Romans  8:6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
Beloved, surround yourself with the spiritual for you are spiritual per your new nature in Christ.

May the Lord help us all!
In case you have found yourself among the first group: natural Men, please before we talk further inbox me and I will personally lead you to Christ and your life will never be the same.

LET YOUR YES BE YES! AND YOUR NO BE NO!! By RKUMI

LUNCH! LUNCH!! LUNCH!!!

LET YOUR YES BE YES! AND YOUR NO BE NO!!

Christians in this generation has taken everything to be normal to the extent that lying has become normal to many Chrisrian brothers and sisters.

Truth is fading away slowly in our generation due to technological equipment like cell phone.
It is harming us and even draging us slowly from our maker because we mostly lie (Sin) with it.

So as a Christian what should we do. Should we let this technological equipment influence us to sin? No!
Because we will be judge by whatever we do or say. That is why James is advicing us through the word that " Let your yes be yes, and your no be no!"

CONCLUSION :
Let's repent,  and  pray to God  for his grace to help us to be truthful because the God we are serving is truthful and when we pray to him he will answer us.

God bless you and let us always say the truth.

My walk with Christ Guidelines

Topic: Productive christian ~Part 3 By Cephas Aziabou

Anchor scripture:
Galatians  5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,  5:23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
Welcome to part  3 of the series on  Productive Christian! Last week, I left you with quite a number of questions. One of these was "Are your fruits Christlike?" I hope this particular episode will help you find an answer to it.

To be a christian is a call to walk with God. Christianity is not an organization you join but a life you experience. Christians are the redeemed people of God. In the old testament, the people of Israel were noted to be the only people or nation of God. That's true per the covenant God made with Abraham. Notwithstanding, God had a plan for all nations to become his people by Jesus Christ.

Galatians  3:16 Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ. Anyone who believes in Jesus, His death and His resurrection and confesses Him as Lord has become part of the family of God. Wow! What a privilege!

1 Peter  2:9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light:
Becoming a member of God's family is an experience because:

1. It wasn't done by registration. This is why a man can have his name in the church book but not necessarily in heaven's.
2. It wasn't based on qualification. It is not the good we did that made us become a member of God's family. This is why a man can do good yet end up in hell. Simply doing good out of natural compassion does not earn you eternal life.

To be part of God's family is an experience because
1. It is a free gift of God through faith.
Ephesians  2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:. It is not in our power to save ourselves but grace found us and we responded.

2. Becoming part of the kingdom of God or of God's family is internal. It is the recreation of our sinful spirit after the likeness of Christ; God coming to live in our spirit. Awesome, right?
1 Corinthians  6:17 But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.
Ephesians  2:18 For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father.

By these two verses, it is clearly seen that the new birth experience is God coming to live in the spirit of man by Christ, to enable him to worship God or have fellowship with Him. Look at how Kenneth Hagin put it in his book
The Spirit within and the Spirit upon
"The Holy Spirit comes within the believer in the New Birth or as it is sometimes called, conversion, being born again, receiving remission of sins, receiving eternal life, or receiving Christ as Savior and Lord." (page 29).

From the discourse above it is clear that to be a member of God's family or to become a child of God is not something natural but supernatural.
John  1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: It is by the power of God (grace or Christ) that we have become children of God. Hallelujah! it's so exciting, isn't it?

The point here is that a Christian is a human being God has imparted His very nature into his spirit. Christianity is also the decision of man to  follow the example of Christ: His character and ministry by subjecting to his teachings.

Let's look at the first time the word "christian" was used in the Bible:
Acts  11:26 And when he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch. And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves with the church, and taught much people. And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch.
It is in Antioch that the disciples of Christ were first called Christians which simply means like Christ. Amazing!

Do you now understand why people don't understand a particular sister or brother who claims to be a christian yet nothing of Christ is seen in his or her lifestyle? Per their understanding, if someone says he or she is a christian then Christ must be seen in the way he or she does his or her things and this is true.

Take a minute and ask yourself "What has changed since I became a christian."
Of course I'm not referring to the number of cars or houses or certificates you have been able to procure for yourself; if Christianity is an experience then something has to change from within you.

If we say we are recreated after the nature of God which is after holiness and righteousness then we should have something to show to the world; this is what I call christian productivity.
Jesus lived a blameless life as a good example we ought to follow.
1 Peter  2:21 For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:  2:22 Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth:. As I said earlier in the previous episode, we don't go around convincing people to believe we are Christians.
It is not even about the church we attend; what people are looking for is Christlike character in us. The anchor verses have stated the fruit of the Spirit we ought to bear as a result of our new nature in Christ. It is not our power though but it will take a conscious effort of ours to bear these fruits.
Titus  2:11 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,
2:12 Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; Christ (grace ) is at work in us.

Remember 1 Peter 2:9 we quoted earlier that a purpose is attached to our new citizenship: to praise God.
1 Corinthians 10:33 says all that we do should glorify God. We are called to know Christ and reveal Him. Our actions and inaction's speak louder than our words.

One last thing I would like us to look at concerning Christ is His ministry. Christ didn't come just living a holy life but he was also going about His Father's business, doing the work of God (blessing lives).
Acts  10:38 How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.

A productive christian does not just live a holy or godly life but he does good, working the works of God: preaching the Gospel, healing the sick among others. Kenneth Hagin calls the ability of the believer to be bi-functional in Christ a dual working of the Holy Spirit.
He puts it this way, "The indwelling of the Spirit is for fruit-bearing, and the outpouring of the Spirit is for service. Understand that our calling as Christians is to bring lost souls to God anyway possible.
One essential way is to preach the salvation message to all. Remember the command Jesus gave His disciples at the beginning of His ministry and at His resurrection.

Matthew  4:19 And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.
Mark  16:15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

The command is GO PREACH. This command has not changed; God is still sending out.
Don't just be a good, nice christian or gentle christian, you must be zealous for God when it comes to service. The reason why we go to church and attend programs is to be strengthened to respond to the call of God upon our lives.

You don't have to be a preacher before. Your work, career or business is your mission field; it's a bait to attract souls to Christ. Dear christian, let this mindset of Christ be in you; don't just do business because of money. Be a kingdom minded believer!
Acts  1:8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
Jesus promised us power and the essence of the power is to go and harvest souls for His name's sake.
Romans  10:14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?

The only way we can be sure people are getting saved is when the believer is preaching the Gospel to the hearing of unbelievers. It is not just our kind gestures. We must preach the salvation message.

In the next series I will be taking you through a course that will help you work towards meeting God's standard for your life. God bless you and do have a nice time with Christ!

I pray for you that you will be found a faithful servant at the coming of Christ. Have a fruitful week!
