Welcome once again to the fourth session of Productive christian. May the Holy Spirit aid you to understand the mind of God for your life as you read this article!

Last week, we established the fact that it is not good enough to be called a christian and be recognized in your church as such; we must be concerned about living the christian life inside out in character and in ministry or service after the likeness of Christ. Ref.productive christian: part 3 This week, we are going a step further to look at how to become more productive by looking at the traits of humans as put by Dr. Michael Williams or the three classes of Men as Lewis S. Chafer has coined in his article He That is Spiritual.

I want us first and foremost to understand that our productivity is impossible without us becoming spiritual. And becoming spiritual is an internal exercise as indicated in the part one of this article.

Matthew  16:26 For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?

            Christianity is more of what has possessed a man than what he possesses. Every human being is spirit but not all are spiritual. The creation of Man in Genesis tells us that man is spirit, soul and body. However Men are not distinguished by their components but their actions. There are therefore three "classes" or "traits" of every human being. This classification is done by the state of the man, his understanding of spiritual things and his walk according to the writings of Paul in 1Corinthians 2:9-16, 1Corinthians 3:1-3 and Romans 8:1-16. These three groups of humankind are natural men, carnal men and spiritual men. 

By the end of this reading, I promise you that if you never knew your group, you will know. Let's start with the first one.

1. Natural Men: this group of people are referred to as unbelievers, pagans or the lost souls. These are the people in their "human state" as put by Dr. Michael Williams. 

Romans  3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

We understand by the scripture that, all human race has sinned (they lost God's presence or His Spirit). These people are still in their sins and are without God. They are not born again; they don't have the Spirit of God, they are of the flesh and live by the dictates of it. 

Romans  8:8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.

The natural man takes pleasure in doing evil and sees nothing wrong with it. 

1 John  2:16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.

Telling the unbeliever youth that having sex before marriage is called fornication, therefore a sin before God doesn't make sense to them. The natural man does not understand the things of the Spirit or of God.

1 Corinthians  2:14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. You must have the Spirit of God within you to understand the things of God. They will argue you out when it comes to sowing seed in church and all other related spiritual principles.

2. Carnal Men: This group of people are believers. They are born again; their sins have been forgiven by the washing of the blood of Jesus Christ when they confessed Jesus as their Lord and personal Savior whom they believe. The Spirit of God resides in them that makes them to understand spiritual things or the things of God. Lewis calls them baby Christians. Their challenge is that though they are no more of the nature of Man (flesh), their understanding of spiritual things is shallow and they follow the leading of their flesh instead of the Spirit within them.

1 Corinthians  3:1 And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ.  3:3 For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men? They WALK as natural men. This is where it becomes difficult to distinguish the christian from the unbeliever. 

Romans  8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. Many people read this scripture but end at "which are in Christ" but the continuation of the reading tells us that there are two kinds of Christians: some walk after the flesh and others walk after the Spirit. It's getting hot, I guess. 

We need to understand that it is not God's will for us to LIVE or WALK after the FLESH. 

3. Spiritual Men: This group is the last group of humankind we are looking at. These are the purchased of God by the blood of Christ or the sons of God, believers who have lost their self or being to God as they live or walk by the leading of the Holy Spirit within. Some theologians refer to them as maturing Christians whilst others also call them mature Christians.

2 Corinthians  10:2 But I beseech you, that I may not be bold when I am present with that confidence, wherewith I think to be bold against some, which think of us as if we walked according to the flesh. The spiritual man doesn't have confidence in his flesh; they do things not because of what they feel in their flesh but what they know by the spirit.

N.B: Be careful and don't be deceived! Spirituality is not being churchy; spirituality is not the wearing of some particular dresses or leaving bushy hair and bear; it is not the practice of some form of holiness; spirituality is not much praying; it is not even Bible verse memorization for the devil also does it; spirituality is not a public gymnastic or  display of  spiritual gifts. All these are a part of  spirituality but not the whole of it. Spirituality is the ability to discern the thoughts of God by the Spirit and take Spirit led decisions. 

This is the desire of God for us that we may be conformed to the image of Christ as we daily live by the Spirit.

Romans  8:29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestine to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.

We must bear it in mind that being spiritual is not a status we reach but a dimension we walk in. That's why a man may be walking in the will of God for him today and tomorrow something else of the flesh. In order to grow in spiritual matters, Paul wrote and he tells us to WALK IN THE SPIRIT.  

Galatians  5:16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. Walking in the Spirit is another episode of our topic which I will be discussing with you in the next publication. However I would like to live you with this before I close this particular write-up. 

Child of God, listen until we allow the Spirit to affect our minds, we are no different than unbelievers. We cannot be productive without having or possessing the mind of Christ. 

On page 56 of his book "The Spirit within and Spirit upon", Kenneth Hagin wrote and said: 

"Your mind is renewed with the word of God...but the Holy Spirit is involved as you meditate." 

Our minds are therefore empowered to produce spirit filled results when we expose the mind to the word of God. 

Romans  12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

                    You act in the way of the flesh because you fill or expose your mind to the things of the flesh.

Don't forget this: the access door to your mind is your sight and your hearing. Before the devil kills you he first fills your mind with death or before he causes you to fornicate he fills your mind with the lust of the flesh. Don't fall a prey to the devil! You can choose to be spiritual by wisely choosing the things you watch and listen to daily.

Romans  10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

If there is  something we ought to listen to more as born again believers then that thing is the WORD. Understand that Jesus is the Word and the more we listen to him the more we become like Him.

2 Corinthians  3:18 But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the LORD. 

Our new birth requires of us to grow in the full image of Christ and until we grow we cannot handle the tasks God is calling us to accomplish and the worse of it all is to be trashed into hell fire on the last day.

Galatians  4:1 Now I say, That the heir, as long as he is a child, differeth nothing from a servant, though he be lord of all; 

Romans  8:6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.

Beloved, surround yourself with the spiritual for you are spiritual per your new nature in Christ.

 May the Lord help us all!

Christians in this generation has taken everything to be normal to the extent that lying has become normal to many Chrisrian brothers and sisters.

Truth is fading away slowly in our generation due to technological equipment like cell phone.
It is harming us and even draging us slowly from our maker because we mostly lie (Sin) with it.

So as a Christian what should we do. Should we let this technological equipment influence us to sin? No!
Because we will be judge by whatever we do or say. That is why James is advicing us through the word that " Let your yes be yes, and your no be no!"

CONCLUSION :
Let's repent,  and  pray to God  for his grace to help us to be truthful because the God we are serving is truthful and when we pray to him he will answer us.

Galatians  5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,  5:23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

Welcome to part  3 of the series on  Productive Christian! Last week, I left you with quite a number of questions. One of these was "Are your fruits Christlike?" I hope this particular episode will help you find an answer to it.

To be a christian is a call to walk with God. Christianity is not an organization you join but a life you experience. Christians are the redeemed people of God. In the old testament, the people of Israel were noted to be the only people or nation of God. That's true per the covenant God made with Abraham. Notwithstanding, God had a plan for all nations to become his people by Jesus Christ.

Galatians  3:16 Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ. Anyone who believes in Jesus, His death and His resurrection and confesses Him as Lord has become part of the family of God. Wow! What a privilege! 

1 Peter  2:9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light:

Becoming a member of God's family is an experience because:

1. It wasn't done by registration. This is why a man can have his name in the church book but not necessarily in heaven's.

2. It wasn't based on qualification. It is not the good we did that made us become a member of God's family. This is why a man can do good yet end up in hell. Simply doing good out of natural compassion does not earn you eternal life. 

To be part of God's family is an experience because

1. It is a free gift of God through faith.

Ephesians  2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:. It is not in our power to save ourselves but grace found us and we responded.

2. Becoming part of the kingdom of God or of God's family is internal. It is the recreation of our sinful spirit after the likeness of Christ; God coming to live in our spirit. Awesome, right?

1 Corinthians  6:17 But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.

Ephesians  2:18 For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father.

By these two verses, it is clearly seen that the new birth experience is God coming to live in the spirit of man by Christ, to enable him to worship God or have fellowship with Him. Look at how Kenneth Hagin put it in his book

The Spirit within and the Spirit upon

"The Holy Spirit comes within the believer in the New Birth or as it is sometimes called, conversion, being born again, receiving remission of sins, receiving eternal life, or receiving Christ as Savior and Lord." (page 29). 

From the discourse above it is clear that to be a member of God's family or to become a child of God is not something natural but supernatural.

John  1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: It is by the power of God (grace or Christ) that we have become children of God. Hallelujah! it's so exciting, isn't it? 

The point here is that a Christian is a human being God has imparted His very nature into his spirit. Christianity is also the decision of man to  follow the example of Christ: His character and ministry by subjecting to his teachings. 

Let's look at the first time the word "christian" was used in the Bible:

Acts  11:26 And when he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch. And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves with the church, and taught much people. And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch. 

It is in Antioch that the disciples of Christ were first called Christians which simply means like Christ. Amazing!

 Do you now understand why people don't understand a particular sister or brother who claims to be a christian yet nothing of Christ is seen in his or her lifestyle? Per their understanding, if someone says he or she is a christian then Christ must be seen in the way he or she does his or her things and this is true.

Take a minute and ask yourself "What has changed since I became a christian." 

Of course I'm not referring to the number of cars or houses or certificates you have been able to procure for yourself; if Christianity is an experience then something has to change from within you. 

If we say we are recreated after the nature of God which is after holiness and righteousness then we should have something to show to the world; this is what I call christian productivity. 

Jesus lived a blameless life as a good example we ought to follow.

1 Peter  2:21 For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:  2:22 Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth:. As I said earlier in the previous episode, we don't go around convincing people to believe we are Christians. 

It is not even about the church we attend; what people are looking for is Christlike character in us. The anchor verses have stated the fruit of the Spirit we ought to bear as a result of our new nature in Christ. It is not our power though but it will take a conscious effort of ours to bear these fruits.

Titus  2:11 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,  

2:12 Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; Christ (grace ) is at work in us. 

 

Remember 1 Peter 2:9 we quoted earlier that a purpose is attached to our new citizenship: to praise God. 

1 Corinthians 10:33 says all that we do should glorify God. We are called to know Christ and reveal Him. Our actions and inaction's speak louder than our words.

One last thing I would like us to look at concerning Christ is His ministry. Christ didn't come just living a holy life but he was also going about His Father's business, doing the work of God (blessing lives). 

Acts  10:38 How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.

A productive christian does not just live a holy or godly life but he does good, working the works of God: preaching the Gospel, healing the sick among others. Kenneth Hagin calls the ability of the believer to be bi-functional in Christ a dual working of the Holy Spirit.

He puts it this way, "The indwelling of the Spirit is for fruit-bearing, and the outpouring of the Spirit is for service. Understand that our calling as Christians is to bring lost souls to God anyway possible.

 One essential way is to preach the salvation message to all. Remember the command Jesus gave His disciples at the beginning of His ministry and at His resurrection.

Matthew  4:19 And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.

Mark  16:15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. 

The command is GO PREACH. This command has not changed; God is still sending out.

 Don't just be a good, nice christian or gentle christian, you must be zealous for God when it comes to service. The reason why we go to church and attend programs is to be strengthened to respond to the call of God upon our lives. 

You don't have to be a preacher before. Your work, career or business is your mission field; it's a bait to attract souls to Christ. Dear christian, let this mindset of Christ be in you; don't just do business because of money. Be a kingdom minded believer!

Acts  1:8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

Jesus promised us power and the essence of the power is to go and harvest souls for His name's sake. 

Romans  10:14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? 

The only way we can be sure people are getting saved is when the believer is preaching the Gospel to the hearing of unbelievers. It is not just our kind gestures. We must preach the salvation message.

THE SIGN OF THE END TIME

BIBLE TEXT:
Mark 13:3-8

Everything that has beginning has an end. Jesus in his ministry as a person came to an end. Many disciple were called by Jesus, they did their best but they are no more.(ended)
Some great men of God, President, Chief are no more, why? Because their end has come.

As God, in the beginning created everything, the same way everything (world) will come to an end.
So one day in Jesus ministry, as he sat on the mount of olives opposite the temple, some of his disciples came to him privately. They asked him "what will be the sign" when these things are all to be accomplished. (End)

Let's consider some of the sign that will notify us, as the world comes to an end:

1.Many will come in my name, saying "I am he! " meaning, not that their name will be called Jesus Christ but they will be like "Saviour" thus without them no one can be save and will lead many to astray.
2. Wars and rumours of wars. This is another sign that the end is at hand.
3. Nation will rise against Nation and Kingdom against kingdom.
4. Earthquake in various places.
5. There will be Famine.
6. Children will rise against parents and have them put to death.

These are some of the sign to share with you.

CONCLUSION :
Going through this even in our generation does not mean the world has come to an end but it is verifying that surely this world will come to an end so you should be watchful that no one deceive you.

Genesis 28:10-15

Dream is another channel that God communicate to his people. Through dream God reveal what the evil has plan against you. The same way God reveal what he (God) has planned for you. Thus dream that affect life negatively and dream that brings or lead to success in life (positively)

Jacob travelled from Beersheba and went toward Haran. And when the sun had set he look for a place to sleep. Through his sleeping, he dreamed and the Lord said to him " the land on which you lie I will give to you and your decendants". When you read further, the Lord said, I am with you and will keep you wherever you go and will give you the land, this is the part I love and focusing on "for I will not leave you until I have done that of which I have spoken to you ". Hallelujah!

Brethren, the Lord is informing you this day that, the dream you have had long ago, currently, which lead to your greatness and success in life will surely come to pass. Hallelujah!
As he said to Jacob so shall it be your portion and story this day in Jesus mighty name Amen!

There may be hindrance but the word of God is powerful to bring into manifestation. Have this Assurance and it will be your portion.

Jeremiah 1:4-5

God has a purpose for every living creature and every living creature has a purpose to be fulfill in live. He is the only one who knows the purpose of been born by your mother, born to that family and even born to that country.
Whatever God did was not a mistake. It was for a purpose.

Jesus was having a purpose as the Virgin Mary gave birth to him. Besides all the miracle he did, the main purpose of his birth was to "Save his people from their Sins". Thus, "the Saviour".

Jeremiah was having a purpose. Even before he was formed in the womb, God knew (Purposed) him. He purported him as a prophet to the nations.

Brethren all that I want to tell you is that, God has a purpose for you. And you can only discover the purpose God has placed in you by seeking God in prayer.

CONCLUSION :
Know your purpose in live so that you can fulfill such prophecy upon your life.

PRAYER:
Father Lord I thank you for my life and your word this day. I pray that Lord reveal onto me the purpose of been born to fulfill whatever you have said about me in Jesus mighty. Amen!

HAVE FAITH IN GOD

BIBLE TEXT :
Mark 11:22-24

Faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see. (Heb. 11:1)
Having faith in God then means total dependence or being assured that whatever you hope for in life will manifest.

Faith in God is the greatest source of every Christian living. Faith with a doubt can not bring manifestation of things you hope for.

What are you praying for. Is it job? Is it Academic excellence? Is it Marriage? Is it Financial breakthrough? Is it good Health? etc. Then God is telling you this day that "Have Faith in Him" as you pray for and it will be yours. (verse 24)

Brethren, may be there is a curse in the family hunting many life but as a Christian pray over it and faith in God that it will never have influence or affect your life and it will be so. Hallelujah!

The season we are in now is not favourable but have faith in God and you and your family will never be infected with this disease.

CONCLUSION :
Pray to God, be vigilant, stand firm in God and in all have faith in God and everything will go well with you. Even though the season is not favourable.

BIBLE TEXT:
Proverb 3:7, 2:6, 1:7

Running away from God doesn't make you "Fear God" but Turning away from evil rather makes you "Fear God".
The "evil" in the statement means  "anything contrary to the word of God."

When you fear the Lord, you gain knowledge and wisdom.
Every worldly practitioner see himself as wise but fool rather. Because they are blind by the evil things and depend on his own insight. But he, who fear the Lord is knowledgeable and wiser in the site of God and on earth.

When you fear the Lord, you always desire and accept the word and store it within you.

When you fear the Lord, you become powerful because the word of power is within you.

When you fear the Lord, you become faithful and God protect such people.

CONCLUSION:
Fearing God means Studying the word,  Practicing the word, Storing the word within you and in all Praying with the word.

This is the little to share with you.

_Matthew  7:16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?_ KJV

The fruits we bear help to determine our very nature or our identity. FRUIT IS THE KEY INDICATOR OF A MAN'S IDENTITY. We can argue about whether a lemon tree is a lemon tree or an orange tree at its growing stage but when it matures to the bearing of fruit, the argument becomes useless because the fruits are able to speak for themselves. 

Fruits or products come to tell others what we have been doing with our time. Just as we have established in the first part of this write-up, what we do consistently with our time and the available resources determine our output or the result we obtain. According to 2015 research _by_ the new Pew Research Center democratic analysis cited by Conrad Hackett and David McClendon on the 5th of April 2017, the Christian population constitutes 31% of the world population of 7.3 billion. Well, I cannot tell how valid is the data they collected but the question remains WHO IS A CHRISTIAN? In this article, we will discover the kind of fruit a christian is expected to be bear: "_Ye shall know them by their fruits._"

To begin with let me emphatically say that Christianity is not a status one attains but an experience that one has. We have countless testimonies of men both dead and alive about the changes that happened to them when they encountered Jesus and were converted. 

Some of those people are Peter; Peter owned a fishering company. One particular night it is recorded about him that he and the team had an unproductive night but the story was different as soon as Jesus came into the scene.( Luke  5:5 And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net) KJV. 

Paul was also a murderer, "a chief sinner" but produced us with two thirds of the new testament after his encounter with our Lord Jesus Christ. ( Acts 9). We can't argue with you on the issue of whether you are a christian or not a christian , your fruits are enough evidence. 

 Are your fruits christlike ? 

We are all familiar with the parable of the talents in Matthew 25. Of the three servants two  were productive and one not productive and the master was furious at the one who failed to trade with his one talent. ( Matthew  25:26 His lord answered and said unto him, Thou wicked and slothful servant, thou knewest that I reap where I sowed not, and gather where I have not strawed:  25:30 And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.) 

KJV; the master called the servant a wicked, lazy and unprofitable servant. Hmm! Beloved, the master in this context is Jesus Christ and the servants are the Christians and the talent, the grace we obtained through faith (the belief that Jesus is the Savior of sinners). 

Ephesians 2: 8 says we were saved by grace through faith. So we all have at least one talent ( Romans  12:3 For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.) 

KJV Grace is the supernatural ability to bear supernatural fruits. Brethren, our master is coming again to receive account of what we have done with the grace. Would he call you a wicked, lazy and unprofitable Christian? 

In my next publication, I will take you through a course that highlights the fruit Jesus is expecting the Christian to produce. But till I  come your way, understand that God expects you to intentionally win souls for Him by your character and your commitment to preaching the gospel of Christ to every soul, everywhere.

Acts 2:1-4

The Holy Spirit is not just a force but a person thus the third person in the Trinity. There should be one accord before the Holy Spirit can descend on you. Meaning your whole being ( Mind, Soul, Heart etc.) must be in one state or accord.

WHEN THE HOLY SPIRIT COMES :
1. It filled you, set you on fire and renew your being. So you become spirit filled renewal being.

2. It give you a new language thus speaking in tongues positively but not negatively. Basically it edify the body.

3. It makes you different from others (unbeliever) because always when you are about to do something wrong, the Holy Spirit prompt or convict you then change of mind comes in.

Brethren the season we are in now is not favourable. The only thing we can do as Christians is to depend on the Holy Spirit to empower us.
To depend on the spirit is by the word.

Study the word and not the world.

PRAYER:
Father I thank you this day for my life and your word. I pray that God fill me more of your spirit to walk through this season in Jesus name Amen!

BIBLE TEXT:
Mark 10:17-22
Galatians 5:19-21 (Sinful nature)

You can't follow without having fellowship. Fellowship in simple term means forsaking all and surrounding all to him. Meaning, you forsake all your sinful nature that prevent or hinder you to have fellowship with God. Then you put on the godly nature and surrounder your all to him in fellowship.

Let us consider something from our text. One day a man came and knelt before Jesus and asked him,  " Good Teacher,  what must I do to inherit eternal life? " Then Jesus said do justice to the commandments as you know. The man replied, "Teacher, all the commandments I have observed from my youth". Jesus looked at the man, loved him and said "You Lack One thing ".

What does this mean? It means even though the man was observing all the commandment (following Jesus) but there was one thing the man was lacking or preventing him to enjoy eternal life in his fellowship with Jesus.

The same thing is happening in our generation as Christians. We see ourselves as followers of Christ, observing all the protocols of Christ but there is "One thing" may be hindering or preventing us to enjoy the blessings of God or eternal life.
That is why God is telling us this day that we should "Forsake all" and have complete fellowship with him.

When you read further, you will realise that forsaking all is not an easy task because when the man heard Jesus saying sell all (forsake all) you have, the man countenance fell and was Sorrowful. But I pray for you that the grace will found you to forsake all.

CONCLUSION :
May be you are practicing or into sinful nature that you see yourself that are enjoying life. No!
God is telling us this day that we should "forsake all and follow" carefully in our fellowship with him to enjoy eternal life. Hallelujah!

Read the text to access yourself and deal with that sinful nature.

PRAYER:
Father I thank you for this day and your word. I pray that any sinful nature hidden in me that is preventing me to fellowship, Lord grant me the grace to forsake all and surrounder all to you in Jesus name. Amen!

This is the day that the Lord has made to feed our spirit with his word. Hallelujah!
Legally we have right to do everything but sometimes been restricted. That's why we don't have the right or put the law in our hands to murder.

The same thing happens to Christ-like (Christian) believer. We have the right to do everything on earth but also restricted. That is why according to our text Paul said " Everything is permissible but not everything is beneficial. The meaning of "But" is the restricted zone.

Meaning, we have the permission to be Financially bless, Put on any dress, Speak or communicate but what comes out from our mouth, what we put on, the money that we are spending does it pleased God or benefit us?
Whatever we are doing on this earth, if it doesn't pleased God, Benefit us and even promote the heavenly kingdom business then we need to REPENT!!

Eve was deceived or moved to eat the fruit by what she saw or heard, the enticement words of the serpent. Many serpent are surrounded us to steal, kill and destroy, to deceived us and move us to love the things of the world. But let us be vigilant and stand firm in the Lord so that we can overcome every serpent in our life.

There are many evil things circulating in the society, Nation and World at large but God is advising us " Not to Move by such things" because it will not benefit our life.

CONCLUSION :
Do not be moved by what you see in the "world" But be moved by what you see in the "Word."

PRAYER:
Lord Jesus thank you for this day. I pray for more Strength to be vigilant and stand firm in you to overcome every evil movement around my life in Jesus mighty name. Amen!

Genesis 2:18-24


Woman is a wonderful person created by God through the rib of man.
God, after creating everything he realised that every living creature is having partner but Man was alone. He saw that something has been taken out of the equation so God said " I will make a helper suitable for him (Man)."

Man ought to value Woman because God took one of man's ribs to create woman. Meaning, God, taken one rib out of man made Man incomplete. So God had to replace the rib by creating or making a helper suitable for him. That is why God created "woman".
(Verse 22-23)

Man ought to value Woman because she is your helper and a helper can send you far or destroy you.

Man ought to value Woman because noble woman is expensive more than Gold or Rubies. Due to the Expensiveness of woman, Jacob worked for fourteen (14) years before getting Rachel whom he love.
(Prov.31:10, Gen. 29:18-27)

Man ought to value Woman because the woman that you don't value today will one day be your Bone of Bone and Flesh of Flesh. (verse 23)

Man ought to value Woman because woman is the only person that cause man to leave his parent and unit with her. (verse 24)

CONCLUSION :
Man is naturally created not to stay home always but woman can do that and that is why the serpent was able to deceive Eve because Adam was not around.
When man is not at home the care taker is the woman so if you "Value the Woman", she will not allow herself for evil.

Potential men and women, let us take note of this word, pray into your marriage and God will surely bless your marriage.

One day Peter traveled to a country called Lydda where he found a paralyzed who has been in this situation for Eight years.
Then Peter said to him, "Aeneas," Jesus Christ heals you. Get up and take care of your mat." Immediately Aeneas got up.
All those who lived in Lydda and Sharon saw him and turned to the Lord.

I agree with this scripture and prophecy unto your life that anything that has been paralyzed in your Marriage, Finances, Health, Academics, Travelling, and even in your Christian life in this pandemic that be "Healed and get up" in Jesus mighty name. Amen!

I prophecy unto your life once again that your Breakthrough, Set free, Deliverance in this paralyzed situation will cause people to turn to God in Jesus name Amen!

As the Lord created the universe by his "word" and it was so, the same way I prophecy unto your life that any "spoken word" from God concerning your life will accomplish and manifest in Jesus mighty name Amen!*

Mathew 24:36-44

Brethren! Time wait for no Man in this grace period. The season we are in now clearly define that the return of Jesus is approaching.

The question is "Are you Prepared? "
If you are prepared, thank God and pray for sustaining grace to stand firm as you await.

But if you are not prepared for his coming then am telling you to prepare yourself to meet Jesus in his return. Because the Bible says Many are called but few are chosen. Let's prepare ourself so that we will be part of the few that are chosen.

Brethren the reason why you must prepare for Jesus return is that:

1. The return of Christ is not known to anyone. Meaning the coming of Jesus Christ will be unexpected.
(Verse 36, 43-44)

2. The rapture will come individually base on your faith in Christ not as group or church. (Verse 40-41)

3. Judgement will be done individually according to your work or deed.

4. We are not from this world. Meaning Heaven and Earth will pass away.

CONCLUSION :
As a woman stand in front of mirror and prepare or dressed herself adequately before she step out! So as a christ-like person must prepare adequately and be on guard for Jesus return.

PRAYER:
Father thank you for my life. I thank you also for your word. I pray as your word has come to me may I be the doer of thy word and not a  mere reader in Jesus name Amen.

My Walk With Christ Guidelines.

"My mother was a prostitute."

This article is written by Cephas Aziabou in honour of mothers and all prospective mothers. 

Ephesians  6:2 Honour thy father and mother; which is the first commandment with promise;

We are in the week of mothers day celebration and I thank God for the lives of those who deemed it necessary to set a day aside to celebrate mothers though celebration of mothers should not be an event but a lifestyle.

The title of this write-up is a quote from Rev. Dr. Bernard Blessing Ankomah, a Ghanaian worshiper and preacher of Rescue Life International. Rev. Bernard B. Ankomah made this statement when he was sharing his life's story. 

If your mother were a prostitute what would be your attitude towards her? What if it were "revealed" to you she is a witch? 

Hmm! We live with controversies surrounding our mothers every day and we can't continue with the pretence but rather seek the wisdom of God in dealing with these issues. This article will offer you that wisdom.

Mothers irrespective of their background, mistakes or past stories or who they are, they are mothers. Mothers suffer pain a lot and the less privileged they are the more pains they endure. 

In Africa, when we talk of single parenting, we are indirectly referring to mothers who take the full responsibility to feed, train and educate their children. It is sad to say that the part of our world where I live we believe that mothers are evil. Perhaps our 21st century civilization and 21st century prophets are the contributing factors. All mother -in-laws and aged mothers are believed to be witches.

Permit me to pause here and share my story regarding my mother. My mum gave birth to 9 of us and I am the 7th born. In fact, 2 died very young and 7 of us alive. All the 9 of us have different fathers with the exception of the first three who were born to the same father: 9 children against 7 husbands. Whenever I read the story in John 4 about the Samaritan woman, my mum's picture comes to mind. My Dad died when I was one year four months, my mother told me. I grew up not feeling the absence of a father. She went through ordeals including our culture impositions just because of me. 

My mom had to take care of me all by herself and I was not the only one, my siblings too; NO FATHER though their fathers were alive. I remember how we labored in people's farms back in my village for our daily survival. They would sack me and my sisters for school fees, we will come to her and say "Dada, skul fee". There was no other person we knew aside _Dada_; no uncle, no auntie. People in the village we lived in would insult my mother prostitute.

 Well, she may be a prostitute to them but to me she is my mother. Hear me young man and young lady, IT DOESN'T MATTER HOW THE SOCIETY SEES YOUR MOMMY, SHE IS YOUR MOTHER.

I would like to end it here but before I end it all, let us look at how the wisest king in the story of life king Solomon treated his mother.

2 Samuel 11 and 12 tell the background of Solomon's birth. Solomon was a product of adultery. The father king David slept with Bathsheba, Uriah's wife and killed her husband.

In 2 Kings 2: 13-19, after Solomon became the King, his brother Adonijah made a request to king Solomon through Solomon's own mother. Let us see how he related with the mother.

_1 Kings  2:19 Bathsheba therefore went unto king Solomon, to speak unto him for Adonijah. And the king rose up to meet her, and bowed himself unto her, and sat down on his throne, and caused a seat to be set for the king's mother; and she sat on his right hand.  2:20 Then she said, I desire one small petition of thee; I pray thee, say me not nay. And the king said unto her, Ask on, my mother: for I will not say thee nay._

 There are 4 ways King Solomon treated the mother and we all ought to emulate.

1. Hospitality : v.19b says that Solomon  bowed down to the mother making room for her. Why do you sack your mommy when she visits?

2. Service: v19c says Solomon caused a _seat to be set_ for the mother. Solomon served the mother in all humility. 

3. Honor : v19's last words say that Solomon made the mother to sit on his _right hand_. Solomon honored his mother before all the men who mattered in the palace. Are you still ashamed of your mum because she is a prostitute?

4. Listening : the v20 says that Solomon gave the opportunity to the mother in a very polite way to speak: _Ask on my mother_. Though Bathsheba's request was not welcome, Solomon did not despise her. Do you still despise your mother because she is illiterate and you are educated or you are rich and she is poor or you are beautiful and she is ugly?

Our anchor verse says we should honor our parents then we are ready to be promoted. Mothers don't have to do some extra or more special than they have done to be honored; they deserve our honor no matter what.

As I rap up, remember that she may be what people think she is but she is your mother. MY MOTHER THOUGH A PROSTITUTE, SHE IS MY MOTHER. On this note let me wish all mothers a happy mothers day. We love you all.

Prayer is the spiritual communication between Man and God which manifest physically as feedback.
The more you communicate the more you receive feedback, so as to prayer. The more you Pray the more you have access to the throne room to acquire solutions or possession.

Don't just pray when you are in need or troubled but have a habit of Praying.
Prayer is not limited to a specific place but wherever you are, you can pray.

Jesus was not praying in church alone but wherever he sees is good for prayer he hide there and pray. And even you can pray within you as to where you find yourself.

A good education is important. Money is important. A good marriage is important. But, a good prayer life is most important!
Because to have access to these and everything in life demand prayer.

HOW TO DECORATE YOUR PRAYER LIFE.
1. Let it be your Habit.
2. Call for the strength of God.
3. See to it that prayer is important.
4. Be determine and self discipline.
5. Have a prayer role model. Either in the Bible or church.

CONCLUSION :

Effective prayer is praying by the word of God and receiving feedback.
Access yourself and Decorate your prayer life because we are not against flesh and blood but against principalities.

PRAYER:
Lord Jesus I thank you for this day. I  thank you for my life and pray for grace and strength to pray. God I pray for your revival in to my prayer life in Jesus name Amen.

We are living in this world but God is telling us that we shouldn't love the World. What does it mean to us as a Christ-like people (Christians).

Even though we are living in this world in general but we are not from here. Again we are living in this world in general but there is another world that as a christ-like people we shouldn't love and do the things in it.

What world am I talking about. Consider this :
The only different that changes the meaning of "Word" and "World" is letter "L". Therefore anything Contrary to the "word" is called " world".

So if God is telling us not to love the world then he is informing us that we shouldn't love what is Contrary to the word. And he move on saying, or anything in the world. Meaning there are certain things in that world when we portray it will separate us from God.  (Galatians 5:19-21)

WHAT TO DO: Not to love the world and the things in it:

1. Study the Word not the world.
2. Be spiritually minded to overcome the flesh. (world)
3. Focus on God and live in his ways.
4. Pray all the time. (Prayerful)

CONCLUSION :
Do not love the world so that the love of God will be in you.

PRAYER:
Father I thank you this day for my life. I thank you for your word and I pray that Lord grant me grace to Love you and do the things of you God! in Jesus mighty name Amen!

Amos 5:4-6

Do you want to live? Then seek God.

The higher the level of your focus determines how you can see well. Meaning if you want to shoot an object from a distance it need focuses to see the exact place where the object is, then you can shoot well.

Thus seeking God goes in line with Focus. You need to focus on God so that you can see him and live a peaceful life.

Who do you seek when you are in need. Who do you seek in making decision to further your education, In marriage decision who do you seek, In making decision on your tithe who do you seek, when you are sick who do you seek and when you are in difficulties or situation who do you seek help from.

Do not seek from any other god, when you are in need, when you are in difficulties, when you are making decision concerning your life but, rather "seek God" who host your life.
The Bible says: seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all other things shall be added to you. (Matt. 6:33)

CONCLUSION :
If you don't want to be consume by fire that day, then Focus, Seek God and Live.

PRAYER:
Lord Jesus I thank you this day for your word. I pray for grace to seek you in all my life to enjoy the benefit of your eternal life. Amen!
